Terms of service – Reserboat

Welcome to Reserboat, the online platform for yacht rentals and personalized maritime, aquatic, and gastronomic experiences. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions of Service:

2. Services Offered
Reserboat provides:
- Yacht rentals by the hour, with a variety of categories.
- Individual experiences such as aquatic tours or gastronomic adventures.
Booking Process:
- Selection & Availability: Clients choose a yacht and check date availability via the website calendar.
- Reservation Request: A reservation form must be filled with accurate details: date, time, duration, passenger count, and additional services.
- Booking Confirmation: Reservations are confirmed upon full or partial payment via available payment methods.
- Written Confirmation: A confirmation email will include reservation details, meeting point, and activity instructions.
- Check-In: Clients must show up with valid ID and booking confirmation at least 15 minutes before departure.
3. Payment Policy
- Accepted Methods: Online via Stripe, or in-person card payments before boarding. On-site payment at the dock or via mobile check-in may also be available.
- Deposits: Some listings allow reservations with a deposit; others require full payment.
- Pending Payments: All services must be fully paid before the activity begins. Some listings allow payment plans.
4. Cancellation and Modification Policy
For Yacht Rentals:
- Cancellations up to 30+ days: 100% refund minus non-refundable transaction fees.
- 15–30 days before: 50% refund minus transaction fees.
- Less than 15 days or no-show: No refund.
For Experiences:
- Cancellations 7+ days before: 100% refund minus transaction fees.
- 48h–7 days before: 50% refund minus transaction fees.
- Less than 48 hours or no-show: No refund.
Exceptions:
If the cancellation is due to weather or technical issues caused by Reserboat or its providers, clients may reschedule or receive a full refund (minus transaction fees).
Modifications:
- Yachts: Free changes if requested 15+ days in advance. Less notice may incur a 20% fee.
- Experiences: Free changes if requested 72+ hours in advance. Less notice may incur a 20% fee.
- Process: Changes must be requested via email, phone, or live chat and confirmed in writing.
5. User Responsibilities
- Behavior: Guests must act respectfully and comply with crew instructions. Dangerous or disruptive behavior is prohibited.
- Damages: Users are financially responsible for any damage caused.
- Age Restrictions: Must be 18+ to book or consume alcohol. Minors must be accompanied by adults.
- Alcohol Use: Permitted only for adults, in moderation. The crew may deny alcohol use if deemed unsafe.
- Passenger Limits: Must adhere to the yacht’s listed maximum capacity.
6. Company Liability
- Force Majeure: Reserboat is not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions due to external factors such as weather, port closures, or technical failures beyond its control.
- Personal Belongings: Reserboat is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
7. Insurance and Licenses
All providers listed on Reserboat are required to hold valid insurance, permits, and licenses as part of our Know Your Provider (KYC) standards.
8. Intellectual Property
All website content including text, images, logos, videos, and design is the exclusive property of Reserboat or licensed third parties. Any use, reproduction, or distribution without written authorization is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal action.
9. Data Privacy
By using our services, creating an account, or making a reservation, you agree to our Privacy Policy. Acceptance of the Privacy Policy is required to use Reserboat.
10. Legal Jurisdiction
All services are subject to the laws of the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of courts located in Cancún, Quintana Roo.
